**Responsibilities**:

- Analyzing and assessing the creditworthiness of new and existing customers
- Designing and driving the implementation of credit strategies, policies, standard operating procedures, and guidelines
- Helping to build, test, develop, validate, and monitor comprehensive credit scoring models used to support credit decisions
- Ensure adherence to the laid down policies and procedures for the smooth running of the division
- Giving feedback and recommendation about current practices and policy, whether implementable or having the gaps
- Identify & provide input on potential risks and implement the proposed solutions
- Monitoring accounts (i.e., cash flows, repayments, account behavior, compliance with covenants stipulated in terms of approval) and ensuring that the portfolio is within the acceptable credit & compliance standards
- Do whatever it takes to make Honest succeed

**Outcomes**:

- Credit Risk risk management and underwriting support
- Analyze production models and give continuous feedback to science for controlling risk and driving volume
- Regular portfolio management. We need a simultaneous portfolio review to check modeling effectiveness as part of the back-testing review. It would be best if you prepared regular internal reporting and portfolio analysis, also suggesting corrective actions based on data and statistical metrics
- Policy control. We believe in the system, not the person. To make sure everything is working in the right orbit, we need to maintain an agile credit policy. To support business growth, you must conduct and create a multi-dimensional approach for product, process, and partnership.
- Do whatever it takes to make Honest succeed.
- This means being willing to do end-to-end work, from high-level research and strategizing to executing operations. We like generalists who can do a bit of everything.

**Core Skills Required For This Role**:

- Ex-fintech startups or banks, a combination of both is preferred
- Minimum of 5-6 years experience in credit analysis roles
- Generalist underwriters understand a broad spectrum of lending products
- Exposed to operation, policy, modeling testing, or non-BAU projects
- Understand basic regulations for lending business and be familiar with relevant POJK
- Data analysis experience/data science background a plus

**Desired Competencies**:

- Proficiency in modern statistical software (Python, R, Matlab, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of statistics, distributions, metrics
- Proficiency with complex queries in SQL
- Financial modeling skills are a plus
- A clear understanding of regulatory requirements for credit, income, portfolio
