Our client is a global expert in maritime transport and logistics who are now seeking a highly motivated and organized QHSSE Advisor to join their team.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Developing and maintaining the QHSSE system.
- Coordinating and communicating with management and other departments.
- Being the preferential interlocutor for the QHSSE TI Division
- Reporting incidents when occurring and main data about QHSSE performances, feedback, and other initiatives regularly to the QHSSE TI Division.
- Investigating and analyzing incidents and near misses that occurred on the site.
- Implementing a systematic proactive risk assessment approach.
- Ensuring implementation of the QHSSE TI Guidelines within the site.
- Developing and maintaining a QHSSE Management System based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 (OHSAS 18001), and ISPS standards when relevant.
- Ensuring that reports on the QHSSE Management System performance are presented to the management for review.
- Informing management at all levels and QHSSE TI Division on relevant QHSSE matters.
- Verifying and monitoring all QHSSE aspects within each activity of the site.
- Promoting the QHSSE culture within the site.
- Ensuring the planning and implementation of QHSSE training and drills for employees.
- Overseeing the Legal and other Requirements (L&R) monitoring within the site.
- Actively participating in regular meetings with the HSE Committee (when existing). Ensuring that the committee’s objectives are clearly defined and strive to maintain them during the meeting proceedings. Recording, distributing, and archiving the minute of committee meetings.
- Developing procedures to address efficiently emergencies.
- Training and raising the awareness of the workforce.
**Qualifications**
- Proven work experience as QHSSE, HSE, and Safety Officer (Min 4 years).
- Bachelor’s degree or above / University graduate in Occupational Health Safety and Environment **ONLY.**:
- A “hands-on” implementer of processes and change.
- Strong leadership skills to constantly drive safety and quality improvements.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Data Accuracy is required.
- Experience in QHSSE, HSE Audit.
- The pool of technical HSE knowledge, Law related, and QHSSE Systems.
- Attention to detail and time management.
- Work well under pressure, be proactive, and have good problem-solving skills.
- Team player, positive attitude, and hands-on style.
