**Position summary**
Lead the Lean/Continuous Improvement activities to maximize the operation efficiency in APAC Operation, by enhancing the Operating System (OS), Management Infrastructure (MI) and Mindsets, Behavior and Capabilities (MBC) of employees with Lean philosophy and approach.
**Accountabilities**
**Strategic direction in operational excellence**
- Support short/long term manufacturing excellence vision and road map for the APAC Operations: Lean Six-Sigma, Reliability, OPEX, P2030.
- Define strategic vision for APAC in key new operational Areas.
- Support to create yearly mill Continuous Improvement planning.
- Lead/Support to set up the manufacturing target and supply chain target in APAC.
- Support digital manufacturing (incl. value creation) roadmap to bring APAC operational Closer to industry 4.0.
- Support to build a management process to keep track of regional/country progress and provide relevant supports when necessary.
**Performance Improvement**
1. Lead/Support the Lean related projects & programs in APAC mills to improve performance
- Lead Lean / OPEX/Reliability/P2030 programs (Inc. Success story sharing and tracking) in manufacturing areas.
- Drive Six Sigma deployment in manufacturing areas.
- Develop a robust tracking system and process to reinforce check & adjust CI progress.
2. Manage APAC Supply chain and Manufacturing Score cards and keep track of performance improvement of KPIs.
3. Support to bring harmonization in global and regional operations practices to maximize mills operation potential.
4. Support to drive regional cost benchmarking and track the fit-gap plan.
5. Lead/Support DTV / Complexity reduction and Spec harmonization workshop and provide guidance to R&D, procurement, logistics and marketing team to deliver best cost option products.
**People development**
- Lead and launch regional programs to build SMS capability
- Lead mill CI leaders to drive various CI programs at the mill level to sustain and promote operation Improvement.
- Build problem solving capability by deploying simple kaizen, 4 step problem solving, Fish one diagram’s and complex Lean Six Sigma projects.
- Support in developing and sustaining mill skill matrix to provide continuous skill transition.
- Support to build technical capability by bringing in synergy with regional Engineering team to create regional talent pool.

**Essential Knowledge and Experience**
- Engineering Degree with min 5 years of experience in Manufacturing and Supply chain environment FMC background is preferred
- Knowledge about Lean philosophy and MI/MBC/OS concept and implementation, such as Kaizen, quick changeovers, TPM, waste elimination, Center-lining
- Experienced in any kinds of Continuous Improvement program in the mill
- Education level: Bachelor’s degree and above
