Senior Chemist

You will work on the new color development, product modification and any relevant matters from customer line for OEM/Auto Parts team. You will ensure lab work requested have been done and response to the requesters within agreed time. You will be based in PPG Samut Prakan Plant, Thailand and report directly to Technical Director - SEA Auto Parts & TH-OEM.

**Key Responsibilities**
- You will be responsible for new color development process, product modification and technical service for all OEM/Auto Parts customers. Especially for Wheel customers.
- You will conduct the First Lot Control to make sure that any new or modified formula will be under good control.
- You will visit OEM/Auto Parts customers to do the line trial and solve the problems with/without TSR team.
- You will be responsible (manage, control and distribute) all document/information which related to the PPG Products/Materials.
- Work together in quality system activity.

**Qualifications**
- Possessed minimum bachelor's degree in chemical
- You will need to have minimum 3 years of experience in either Automotive Body paint coatings and Wheel coatings or related field. More prefer on Wheel coatings experience
- Experienced in powder coating / liquid coating background will be consider
- Possessed Color matching experience
- Knowledge: Paint formulating concept and customer line service protocol
- Understand the basic of making paint and lab properties performance testing. Knowing about the Automotive/Alloy Wheel paint properties test for car’ makers.
- Chinese speaking will be an added advantage
