Job Purpose:

- Manage color adjustment process with Color matcher team. Improvement the color adjustment cycle time and accuracy by working with process engineer and technical group. Standardize the color adjustment process by set up the process flow with documentation. Prepare Color matcher performance reports and analysis high light/low light to improvement.

General Description:

- Manage daily job with Color matcher team to follow up production plan and supply product on time.
- Maintain the good SQA rate and initiate the improvement plan to be independent of color approval process.
- Participate the color harmony activity in each Customers and work with related function to improve the color harmony score.
- Review and approve the color adjustment information before charge into the production tank.
- Review the master periodically and replace if need.
- Accountable for production safety and maintains compliance to all applicable EHS operating requirements, intervenes and takes applicable action when poor safety behaviors or substandard performance is observed, provides training and development coaching and counseling to the operating personnel to maintain EHS and operating procedures compliance and understanding.
- Accountable to maintain the established housekeeping standards participates in and takes a leadership role maintaining and improving the 5S program and other business improvement objectives for production area.
- Accountable for updates the Color matcher training matrix, develop Color matcher skill matrix and discipline.
- Insure TS16949, ISO9001, OHSAS18001 & ISO14001 requirement are follow for production area.
- Participate or lead improvement with Lean, Kaizen and RIW.

Key Challenges (in first 6 - 12months):

- Understand OEM paint manufacturing process and relative function work flow.
- Focus on Results, Drive Change, Promote Teamwork, Build Trust and Respect, Understand Market & Customer Perspectives and Develop Others.

Core Responsibilities:

- Accountable for safety operating and maintains compliance to PPG EHS
- Accountable for color matcher team to have good color adjustment cycle time, %SQA and operation discipline of the production area to meet target.
- Leading 5S program to maintain the established housekeeping standards participates in production and improving the 5S program.

**KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
**Experience**:

- Prefer to have experience paint chemical or chemical manufacturing at least 1-3 years.
- Prefer to have experience to supervise subordinates 5-10 people.

Knowledge:

- BS in Chemical Science, Chemical Engineering or related technical degree with manufacturing experience.
- TS16949, ISO9001, OHSAS18001 & ISO14001
- Microsoft Excel, word and PowerPoint

Skills (functional competences and capabilities):

- Good leadership skill, possess effective human relations.
- Results oriented, Drive Change, Promote Teamwork.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
