**_Job Overview and Responsibilities _**_*_**

Syensqo is creating its internal Global Business Services (GBS) to cover Finance, Procurement and Human Resources activities. We offer you to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment and to contribute to this group’s transformation.

Cash Collector is responsible for managing a portfolio of customers and to perform full Cash Collection services for Syensqo third party customers which are located in the region and comply with company policies and procedures

This position will report to the Regional Team Leader for Credit, Collection and Accounts Receivable.

Key responsibilities:

- Analyzing the customers’ accounts and identifying the payment behavior of the customers
- Identifying the reasons blocking the payment and ensuring their resolution to enable the prompt payment, by working in collaboration with different stakeholders
- Answer customer questions, provide invoice copies and other documentation to facilitate customer payment;
- Preparing reports to the different Businesses to communicate on overdue status and actions launched (be the preferred contact for every Solvay Business company);
- Collaborating with different stakeholders (Accounts Receivable, Credit Management, Sales and Customer Service teams) to solve any issues and improve the process performance;
- Developing and implementing initiatives to improve the process efficiency.
- Handle disputes including communication to related parties

**_Education and Experience _**
- University degree (Finance is a plus but other backgrounds are also considered)

**_Skills and behavioral competencies_**_*_**
- Ready to take initiative and results oriented
- Good telephone communication skills with developed negotiation techniques
- Ability to follow-up and follow through with multiple tasks
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Excel
- SAP knowledge is a plus

**_Language skills_**

Good level of spoken and written skills in English for all positions.

Good Level of spoken and written capabilities in one or more local languages is mandatory:
Lisbon: French; Italian; English; German + local Portuguese

Curitiba: English; Spanish + local Brazilian
- Bangkok: Chinese; Hindi; English + local Thai; Korean: Japanese
