**Senior Associate (Mandarin Chinese speaking)**:

- A high profile Thai based law firm is seeking to expand its team in Pattaya._

**Educational Qualifications**:

- LLB (mandatory) / LLM (Desirable)
- English and Mandarin language fluency
- 8+ years (post
- qualification) in legal services

Role will include drafting agreements, reviewing and negotiation with clients, BOI and company formations, acquisition due diligence, transaction documentation, litigation management, corporate transactions,property conveyances and more.
- Independently, where required, with supervision, drafting and reviewing of contracts for clients largely based out of Thailand;
- Advise and support key business stakeholders (including at times with senior leadership) on various legal tasks, such as corporate formations, employment, litigation and compliance matters;
- Providing legal due diligence and transaction support to Client’s acquisitions and restructuring activities from time to time; drafting due diligence reports and overseeing the legal aspects of restructuring
- Independently corresponding with key business stakeholders (including at times with senior leadership) on a daily basis for legal aspects related to client engagements and within tight turnaround times independently draft documents and correspondence with accuracy and fluency;
- Independently handle multiple ongoing matters without continuous supervision and follow
- up; and
- Support on company secretarial work involving Company law compliance and related aspects as well as visa and immigration matters

**Skills**:

- Strong drafting skills and experience;
- Excellent verbal and written communication; command over the English & Mandarin language;
- Good legal research skills;
- Responsibility and accountability for own actions and performance;
- The ability to present confidently to management on legal concepts;
- Potential to mature into a partnership role that require strategic thinking, prioritizing and team management skills;
- A passion to work in company law and company secretarial matters;
- A desire to work across a very broad range of disciplines;
- The ability to quickly grasp technical concepts; good understanding of the Thai Commercial Code and general law;
- The ability to identify when supervision or escalation is needed; and
- Willingness to learn, professional attitude and ability to meet demanding deadlines.
