About the Role:
- Establish, plan and execute all strategic initiatives within the SQ team to achieve success within a given timeframe.
- Standardize documents to improve the quality of reports and presentations.
- Standardize and centralize consumption materials.
- Implement continuous improvement activities to enhance inbound inspection capacity and productivity.
- Initiate new capabilities or innovations to support and improve inspection capabilities.
- Monitor and follow up with suppliers to address containment actions in a timely manner.
- Monitor and follow up with the SQC team to address outflow defects in a timely manner.
- Conduct inbound inspection audits to ensure team members are working to standard.
- Improve and monitor the safety of the working environment.
- Collaborate with supervisors to ensure the Supplier Quality Control team receives regular and appropriate training.
- Plan, implement, and improve 5S activities.
- Analyze problems, implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain department dashboards.
- Perform other assignments as directed by management.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in material incoming inspection processes or quality control processes.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement, quality management, drawing, specification, and standardization.
- Problem analysis experience.
- Familiarity with statistical and analytical tools (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Logical thinking, strategic thinking, and systematic thinking.
- Understanding of technical inspections of spare parts, raw materials, etc.
- Knowledge of ISO standards.
- Understanding of quality standards required in the jewellery industry.
- Strong and detailed technical knowledge in product development processes.
- Familiarity with AQL, LAR, Gage R&R, process capability studies, and problem analysis tools (5-why, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, PowerApps, Automate, and statistical tools.
- Excellent English communication skills (writing and speaking).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
