Project Safety Assurance Manager
Join Alstom, a global leader in the rail industry, and take on a new challenge as a Project Safety Assurance Manager in Bangkok. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our railway systems and infrastructure.
About the role
You will be responsible for defining and implementing safety requirements to mitigate railway safety risks, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Your expertise will be essential in supporting the team in assessing, containing, and closing safety issues, as well as coordinating with RAM/Safety contributors from different entities.
Your key responsibilities
- Support stakeholders in defining measures to meet RAMS actions and ensure their closure through documented evidence.
- Take a proactive approach in design assessment to support the definition of technical solutions to control railway safety risks.
- Manage RAMS Engineers to meet QCD commitments.
- Support the PrQSM in performing Safety Design Reviews and issuing Safety Authorizations.
About you
We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a RAMS/Safety Manager in railways, aerospace, or projects.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Railway business, with detailed knowledge of products or services developed within the Platform/system.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in international projects.
- Successful experience working in a multi-site, multi-cultural environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Structured and organized with a hands-on approach.
- Fluent in English.
